The Ancient Forest Series

Welcome to my blog. This first piece starts the Ancient Forest Series; honoring Earth-life through subtle recognition from eons ago. Trees, creatures, plants, colors—I use all of it to nudge the heart into remembering. The voice of clay, Earth itself, guides these forms.

This first piece, Heartnest, hints at a time when trees might have been openly sentient and a part of intricate communities. Was there a time when they moved more visibly? Interacted with mythical creatures more openly? Is there a time in our future when trees integrate again and assist humans in building living wood structures rather than dead wood homes?
